The actress who was popularly known by her stage name, Ashabi Iya Adinni, died today, Saturday, 3, after a brief illness, Daily Post reports.
The demise of the top Yoruba actress was reportedly confirmed by Yoruba actor, Muyiwa Ademola via his Instagram page.
He shared a post with the caption, “This is quite sad but who are we to question the Almighty? Sleep on Iya Adinni.
“May the Almighty forgive your sins.”
Adegbola was well known for her roles in “Ìlù gángan” (2009), “Ogbologbo” (2003) and “Ogbologbo 2” (2003), amongst others.
